Hi!!
My name is Brody! Nice to meet you. My nicknames are the Brodster and Bro-Bro.
I am one year old and am a great boy!!! My first family did not socialize me very much, so I had lots and lots of fears when I moved in with my foster family. I have made great improvements in the last couple of months!!!! Some things still scare me so my new family will need some patience… Please.
Some of the things I like to do: - Play - Eat ice cubes - Walk - Play soccer with my playground ball - Fetch - Snuggle - Catch treats - Catch a late night Kong - Go to the dog park - Bully Sticks!!!! - Snuggling with my humans and giving Cocker kisses!!!!!
When my foster mom first rescued me I was very afraid. I would bark at almost everything, shake and refuse to interact with anyone. She has been working with me to build up my confidence. She has taught me to sit, down, shake, high five, wave and catch.
I am learning that people are ok. I will let most anyone pet me now!!! I will be your very best friend if you have a treat for me!!
My biggest drawback from what I hear is that I am “big” boy. Geez, really?? I weigh 35 lbs and am not mixed with anything but cocker and cocker.
BTW - potty trained via dog door, crate trained if needed, feed 2 times per day, neutered, current on shots, heartworm negative, good in the tub, good at the groomer…
I make my foster mom laugh everyday at the silly stuff I do.
Know what is really cool about this deal?? My foster mom is a trainer and a house-sitter so she can help out if you adopt me.
Would you like to meet me?? Just let the wonderful folks at Cocker Rescue know and we will set it up.
BTW - do you have another young dog that will play with me?? That would be fantabulous!!!!
Cocker hugs, kisses and high fives,
Brody |
