Quentin is a fun little guy who has achieved a great balance between playful and cuddly. This silly boy has enough puppy in him to be up for walks, playing with toys and being a good travel companion. He also is mature enough to not be crazy, be satisfied with short walks or a bout of playing and to enjoy sitting in your lap and watching tv. He’s a HUGE lap dog and one of his favorite things is to stand up on his back legs and let you hug him that way. He is housebroken, knows how to ‘sit’, walks very nicely on a leash and seems to be very submissive to adults; we have no children but I think he would be fine with older ones. He’s a little finicky with his canine companions so I think he would love to be an only dog but he is able to get along with some, it really just depends on the other dog. He’s pretty interested in chasing cats, but he is easily distracted so I think he could live with one if you put some training into it. Other tidbits: his tongue is often hanging out giving him a very cute but goofy expression and he has a surprisingly deep bark for a cocker. His alertness and that deep bark make him a very effective watchdog.
